Bitcoin’s market capitalization will rise to 16 trillion dollars by 2030; this forecast is featured in Ark Invest’s annual Big Ideas report and predicts a fundamental leap in the asset’s price. An increase of more than tenfold from its current 1,5 trillion dollar value will occur at an annual compound 63% growth rate. The report emphasizes that this momentum will stem from accelerating purchases by institutional investors and cryptocurrencies becoming a standard asset class in global portfolios. The fund company managed by Cathie Wood calculates that the entire digital asset market, led by Bitcoin, will also reach 28 trillion dollars in a decade. According to the calculations, even if all 21 million BTC are in circulation, a single Bitcoin will head towards 730.000 dollars.
