Solana-based yield exchange Exponent Finance has secured a $5 million seed investment to expand its platform and strengthen its yield infrastructure. This round, led by Multicoin Capital, was also supported by Solana Ventures, RockawayX, L1D, Prelude, and Theia Blockchain from the SOL detailed analysis ecosystem, as well as angel investors Anatoly Yakovenko and Nick Ducoff. The company's total capital has reached $7.1 million. The investment will be spent on the new platform version launching next month.
Exponent’s New Platform: On-Chain Interest Order Book
According to company founder CEO Thomas Lefort, the fundraising was completed between May and August using SAFE and token warrants. The new version introduces a fully on-chain interest rate order book and strategy vaults. The order book converts staking/lending yields into fixed-rate or leveraged positions; for example, Kamino protocol users will be able to convert variable yields to fixed terms. Strategy vaults enable asset managers to offer hedging tactics. Since launch, over $2B in volume and 35K+ users.
