TON Wallet BTC, ETH, USDT Vaults Introduced

Telegram's built-in crypto wallet TON Wallet has introduced a vault feature that allows users to earn yields on Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Tether USDt (USDT). This self-custodial wallet offers the ability to hold, send, and earn without leaving the messaging app. According to the Thursday announcement to Cointelegraph, the system works with Morpho's DeFi infrastructure, TON Applications Chain (TAC) execution layer, and Re7 strategy provider.

Andrew Rogozov, CEO of Wallet in Telegram, stated that they aim to integrate digital assets into daily life. Vaults offer variable yields while self-custody keeps fund control with the user; USDT vaults provide dollar-based earnings at different risk levels. Native BTC and ETH deposits will automatically appear in wrapped form in the TON ecosystem. Wallet in Telegram has over 150 million registered users. This month, TON Foundation also introduced the TON Pay payment kit; Telegram's first half of 2025 revenue rose to 870 million dollars.
