COINOTAG news reports that on September 15, crypto mining giant Bitfarms disclosed a new hosting agreement with Stronghold Digital Mining. This strategic partnership is set to bolster Bitfarms’ computing power by an additional 2.2 EH/s by October 2024, accelerating the originally planned schedule by two months. The arrangement will introduce 10,000 Bitmain T21 mining machines to the Panther Creek facility in Pennsylvania, commencing operations on October 1, 2024. As per the agreement, Bitfarms will remit 50% of the profits from the miners’ activities to Stronghold. This hosting agreement is subject to annual renewal, contingent on mutual consent from both parties.
