CME Group has rolled out TAS (Trading at Settlement) for SOL, Micro SOL, XRP and Micro XRP futures, enabling trades at the day’s closing settlement price or near it. This structured reference price supports precise hedging and lowers settlement risk for crypto futures participants, aligning execution with the official settlement benchmark and enhancing price discovery around settlement windows.

Industry participants, including hedge funds and asset managers, can use TAS to anchor hedges to the settlement reference, enabling tighter risk controls and more predictable roll adjustments. The broadened TAS access across SOL, Micro SOL, XRP, and Micro XRP futures may support deeper liquidity and better price alignment in the CME crypto futures suite, without implying directional bias.
