EigenLayer Enhances Security for Ethereum Node Operators Ahead of Q2 Stakedrop

The Eigen Foundation, as reported by COINOTAG on September 16, announced a new update aimed at enhancing security measures for node operators. According to the statement published on X, operators can now utilize new addresses to receive airdrops instead of linking their main operator addresses directly to the claim interface. This development coincides with a prior announcement from Ethereum’s re-staking protocol, EigenLayer, which specified that the second quarter Stakedrop claim will commence on or before September 17, 2024.
