COINOTAG News on September 2 reports that, according to LookIntoChain monitoring, an on‑chain whale at address 0xa523 incurred losses exceeding $30 million over the past week. On‑chain analytics show the account has a history of initiating ETH long positions near prior highs and exiting near lower price points.
Five hours ago the wallet closed a 41,931 ETH long position (approximately $179.4 million), recording an incremental loss reported near $10 million. The address still holds a 36,578 ETH long exposure (around $160 million), leaving a combined reported realized and unrealized loss in excess of $30 million, per the monitoring data.
