EURS Leads Euro Stablecoins Growth as MiCA Pushes Market Cap to $6.83B, with EURC and EURCV Seeing Major Volume Surges
COINOTAG News, citing CoinGecko, reports that the market capitalization of Euro stablecoins has roughly doubled since the EU’s MiCA rollout, reaching about $6.83 billion. Yet euro-denominated tokens remain far smaller than USD stablecoins, which exceed $300 billion, underscoring regulatory clarity’s influence on euro liquidity.
The 2025 Euro Stablecoin Trends Report from London’s Decta shows growth concentrated in a few top tokens. EURS rose 6.44%, while EURC and EURCV posted gains, with volumes up 1139% and 343%. This signals a more active, though still capped, euro-stablecoin ecosystem.
EU search interest is rising, with Finland up about 400% and Italy around 313.3%, while Cyprus and Slovakia show smaller but steady gains, hinting at broader awareness and on-ramp activity for euro-denominated liquidity tools.
