Hut 8 and Bitmain Collaborate to Launch New High-Performance Bitcoin Mining Machine

According to official announcements on September 19, COINOTAG reported that North American Bitcoin mining giant Hut 8 has partnered with prominent digital currency mining server manufacturer Bitmain. Together, they have unveiled the next-generation ASIC mining machine, the U3S21EXPH. This advanced mining equipment boasts an impressive performance capacity of 860 TH/s and an energy efficiency of 13 J/TH. Hut 8 has outlined plans to deploy these machines through a hosting agreement targeting approximately 15 EH/s by the second quarter of 2025. Additionally, there is potential for shifting to autonomous mining via purchase options. This strategic alliance is expected to significantly bolster Hut 8’s computing power, potentially increasing their hosting capabilities from 18.5 EH/s to an estimated 33.5 EH/s.
