COINOTAG has revealed that Bitcoin mining giant Hut 8 Corp. announced an extended partnership with Bitmain Technology on September 20. They plan to introduce the next-generation ASIC mining machine U3S21EXPH in Q2 2025. Hut 8 aims to integrate this advanced model into its operations via a hosting agreement encompassing 15 exahash per second. This strategy involves deploying the new model within internally developed custom data center infrastructure. The agreement, initially set at approximately 15 EH/s, is projected to elevate Hut 8’s overall hash rate from 18.5 EH/s to nearly 33.5 EH/s—a substantial 80% increase. Notably, Hut 8’s stock (ticker: HUT) has surged by over 7% following this announcement.
