On September 16, Sonic Labs’ CTO Andre Cronje announced on X that Oracle v4 has been submitted for auditing. This latest iteration facilitates the authentication of off-chain data. Practical applications span from oracle-based solutions (price feeds, treasury management, proof of existence) to tokenization mechanisms (equity tokens, stablecoins, real-world assets). Moreover, Oracle v4 can be integrated into bridge technologies. Notably, while these implementations are zero cost for DApps, they incur only minimal additional gas fees for users.
