COINOTAG reported on August 31 that EmberCN monitoring observed the original attacker behind the early‑2024 Orbit Chain theft transfer 4,320 ETH via Tornado Cash, valued at approximately $18.81 million. The movement is tied to the breach that initially yielded roughly $81.5 million in stolen assets.

On‑chain analytics indicate the actor converted proceeds into ETH at an average price near $2,301 and retained the position; subsequent market appreciation has materially increased the fiat valuation of those holdings.

EmberCN tracing shows a cumulative 17,242 ETH (≈$66.35 million) routed through Tornado Cash, while the suspect address still holds about 9,511 ETH (≈$41.6 million) and 20 million DAI, leaving untransferred assets estimated at $61.6 million.
