Semler Scientific, a publicly traded entity in the U.S., has made significant strides in the cryptocurrency landscape by investing $88.5 million to acquire 871 BTC. This strategic move comes amid a robust performance, with Semler’s Bitcoin assets generating an impressive 152% return since July 1, 2024. Currently, the company holds a total of 3,192 BTC, reflecting its commitment to enhancing its presence in digital assets.

Further strengthening its financial positioning, Semler Scientific plans to offer $85 million in convertible senior notes to qualified institutional buyers, maturing in 2030. A portion of the proceeds will be allocated to fund capped call transactions, while the remainder will be utilized for general corporate purposes, including additional acquisitions of Bitcoin.
