Tether’s CEO, Paolo Ardoino, emphasized the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the company’s operational framework in a recent statement to Bloomberg. Highlighting AI’s pivotal role in film production, Ardoino noted that adopting AI-driven methods aligns with Tether’s vision of innovation, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. He stated, “Organizations must adapt to this ever-evolving landscape,” stressing the importance of evolving recruitment strategies to incorporate these technologies.
As Tether expands its capabilities, the company has recently brought on board 30 new employees dedicated to building its AI infrastructure. Plans indicate further recruitment in regions including Asia-Pacific, Europe, and parts of Latin America, with an aim to increase its workforce to 200 by mid-2025. While Ardoino hinted at ambitious profitability goals exceeding $10 billion by 2024, he refrained from disclosing detailed financial metrics, noting the absence of audited reports.
Moreover, Ardoino is set to unveil Tether’s comprehensive AI strategy at the upcoming AI Week event in Italy, scheduled for May. His presentation will address the intersection of disruptive technologies like AI, robotics, and privacy, aiming to shed light on often overlooked future scenarios influenced by emerging technologies.
