Since October 16, approximately 8.6 million USDC has been redeposited into Lighter, with about 7.5 million of that rerouted into the LLP. The project notes that fees generated will be returned to holders, and reflected in LLP earnings. This arrangement has not been documented publicly to date, making it an unusual disclosure in the governance records.

The remainder—about 21.9 million USDC—has been transferred to a Coinbase custody address, underscoring the evolving custody strategies for large balance movements and potential implications for security and asset stewardship within the ecosystem.
