EWZ (iShares MSCI Brazil ETF) is an emerging-market-focused exchange-traded fund managed by BlackRock iShares that covers Brazil's largest stock exchange, B3. Petrobras (oil), Vale (iron ore and mining), and major Brazilian banks such as Itaú Unibanco make up the ETF's largest holdings. EWZ tracks the MSCI Brazil 25/50 Index. The index covers leading Brazilian companies across energy, materials, financials, and consumer sectors. Although the 25/50 weighting limit partly prevents single-component concentration, the combined weight of Petrobras and Vale remains high.
