Israel's PM hopeful Gadi Eisenkot says Israel should explore a new security arrangement with Syria based on the 1974 agreement, backed by strong U.S. guarantees.

He says any deal should require the removal of Russian and Turkish forces from Syria, while Israel's withdrawal from Mount Hermon and other strategic positions would be subject to negotiations.
