NEW: Türkiye, Qatar, Pakistan and Indonesia will sign a memorandum of understanding in Doha to strengthen cooperation in the defense industry, Türkiye's Defense Industry Agency (SSB) announces.
The deal builds on existing projects, including Bayraktar TB2 drones and armored vehicles supplied to Qatar, corvettes built for Pakistan's navy in Istanbul and Karachi, and the Kaplan MT medium tank developed jointly with Indonesia.
The SSB said Turkish defense and aerospace exports topped $10 billion in 2025, up 48% from the year before, and have passed $11 billion over the past 12 months.
Türkiye is now the world's 11th-largest arms supplier, having increased its exports by 122% over the past five years.
