Turkish President Erdogan held a phone call with Trump to discuss bilateral relations and regional and global developments.
Erdogan stressed the importance of strengthening Türkiye-U.S. ties, closely monitoring developments in the Strait of Hormuz and Yemen, and pursuing diplomatic solutions.
He also reaffirmed Türkiye's readiness to support efforts to revive peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.
Trump congratulated Erdogan and the Turkish people on Republic Day and wished success for the Organization of Turkic States summit.
