On September 19, Justin Sun posted on X highlighting the potential for decentralized perpetual contracts on Tron. He observed that Tron serves as a major settlement network for USDT, described perpetual contracts as an early practical use case for the stablecoin, and announced the launch of SunPerp.
Market participants and infrastructure teams should evaluate SunPerp by reviewing its contract design—including margining, liquidation mechanics, oracle architecture and liquidity provisioning—to gauge on‑chain derivatives risk and capital efficiency relative to existing USDT liquidity on Tron.
