HYPE Price Hits $33 as $11.38M in Short Liquidations Hit Hyperliquid, Whales Undergo Partial Liquidations

COINOTAG News, citing Coinglass data on November 25, showed HYPE posting a brief, near-6% rally, briefly touching the $33.70 level before lingering near the $33.00 area.

Across the network, roughly $11.38 million in short positions were liquidated within the last hour, with the vast majority concentrated on Hyperliquid—accounting for about 99% of total liquidations.

HyperInsight trackers note that in the past five hours, four active whale addresses—0x6f, 0x53, 0x6d, 0x14—open short bets on HYPE and have undergone partial liquidations. The initial liquidation level hovered near $33.40 across a combined $4.6 million exposure, now repriced to the range $33.78–$33.88.
